DAY 12
Engaging the Drive to Operate (Part 1)
Focus: Operating Double Portions
Author: Divine Okorie, Chair
Engaging the Drive to Operate is about activating the internal force that moves a person from potential into function. Many people possess ability, vision, and even opportunity, yet nothing happens because the drive to operate has not been engaged. The emphasis is therefore not merely on receiving something new, but on awakening the capacity to function at a higher level of output, authority, and impact.
Tonight, we will be looking at Operating Double Portions.
The idea of double portions emphasizes expanded capacity and multiplied effectiveness. Operating in a double portion does not simply mean doing more work.
It means functioning with:
greater authority
stronger conviction
higher productivity
increased impact
It suggests a shift from ordinary operation to heightened operation, where:
effort produces greater results
clarity replaces confusion
strength replaces limitation
Receiving more does not automatically produce greater results. Operation determines the outcome. Someone may receive:
more opportunity
more resources
more authority
But without engaging the internal drive, those additions remain inactive.
Engaging the drive means:
recognizing the increase
adjusting one's level of operation
rising to match the new capacity
The greater the portion, the greater the requirement to operate effectively. In practical terms, a “double portion” mindset means refusing to operate at minimal capacity and instead stepping into the fullest expression of what is possible.
Tonight, receive double portion in results, in impact, in substance, in strength, and in love for everyone. See you tomorrow!
Until then, welcome to your week of driven to operate.
