DAY 13
Engaging the Drive to Operate (Part 2)
Focus: Operating Unclear Mandates
Author: Divine Okorie, Chair
Engaging the Drive to Operate is about activating the internal force that moves a person from potential into function. Many people possess ability, vision, and even opportunity, yet nothing happens because the drive to operate has not been engaged. The emphasis is therefore not merely on receiving something new, but on awakening the capacity to function at a higher level of output, authority, and impact.
Tonight, we will be looking at Operating Unclear Mandates. Tonight is activating the ability to function effectively even when direction is incomplete, ambiguous, or evolving.
An unclear mandate is not the absence of responsibility, it is a responsibility without full definition. The task exists, the expectation exists, but the how, when, or full scope is not fully laid out.
The critical issue is this: Will you remain inactive until clarity comes, or will you engage the drive to operate within the confusion?
Unclear mandates often look like:
“Handle this” without detailed instructions
Being placed in a role that hasn’t been fully structured
Being expected to produce results without a defined process
Facing situations where outcomes are known, but methods are not
Those are situations where you have to handle it. However, tonight, that will change for you.
In terms of options, if you are still unsure about picking, your choices will be clearer than ever. Any confusion shall be BROKEN. Any misunderstanding shall be BROKEN. Any disagreement shall be BROKEN. Any conflict in your life shall be BROKEN.
So shall it be. See you tomorrow!
