Deputy Party Leader & Policy Directorate (Strategy)
The Unified Party

The successful candidate will play an important role in helping shape the direction and development of The Unified Party’s internal policies, ideas, and initiatives. The role will involve working closely with members and supporters to understand their views and ensure that the direction of the project reflects the interests of the wider Unified Party community.

A key responsibility of this role will be contributing to the development of The Unified Party’s September 2026 Manifesto. This will provide an opportunity to bring together the ideas, priorities, and commitments of the project and present them in a clear and engaging format.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Take an active role in developing and reviewing the Party’s internal policies and ideas.

• Work collaboratively with the Party Leadership and Policy Directorate.

• Listen to and consider the views of members and supporters.

• Contribute to the preparation and development of the September 2026 Manifesto.

• Help ensure that the Party’s ideas remain consistent with its overall direction.

• Provide strategic input and constructive suggestions for the future development of The Unified Party.

• Accept that ideas and policies may be changed, amended, or ultimately overturned as the project develops.

• Be between 13-18 years old.

• Have access to Discord & Snapchat.

• Have 1 reference for their application.

While you are encouraged to put forward your own ideas and make a strong case for your proposals, you must also be willing to accept the final decisions made by the appropriate members of the Party Leadership. Not every proposal will necessarily be adopted, and decisions may change as The Unified Party continues to develop.

All applications for the position must be submitted by 25 August 2026 at 8pm BST.

20-27 August 2026 @ 5 pm BST -> Interviews
Shortlisted candidates must be available to participate in an interview before 27 August 2026. Candidates should ensure they are able to make themselves available during this period.

27 August 2026 -> Party Leadership Discussion
The Party Leaders & Advisors will meet to discuss the candidates and determine the successful appointment.

28 August 2026 -> Deputy Leader Announcement
The successful candidate will be publicly announced during a livestream on 28 August 2026. The exact time of the livestream is TBC.

The Unified Party has absolutely no connection to real-world politics. The Unified Party is not a real political organisation, political party, campaign group, or political movement. It is a UK-based passion project created purely for community and collaborative development.
